Happy Valley Manuka Honey Score
Happy Valley UMFHA member license #2024
The moment I saw Happy Valley’s wonderfully made scenic presentation of the journey of honey, I knew I had to try this brand.
With over 30 years of experience in honey production, Happy Valley, are one of very few companies that do not include the “human factor” in their production line. What I mean by that, is that there is very little human influence on the Manuka honey that they produce. As such, the honey is organic, raw, and it has maintained its most natural flavor.
Happy Valley’s Manuka honey has a dense, creamy and toffee looking texture that transcends into a slightly bitter, but sweet lingering taste. This naturally produced goodness of life is non-GMO and extremely tasty.
As one of the top producers of honey in New Zealand, it did not take Happy Valley too long before they successfully tapped into the Manuka market. Now, they have made their products known all across the globe, including Asia, Australia, Middle East, Europe and North America. As a result, Happy Valley has received some of the most positive customer reviews and expert evaluations.
Out of the top five brands that I have reviewed here, Happy Valley is the only one that not only guarantees your money back, but it allows you to check the quality of your jar of honey on their website. All you have to do is go here, enter the batch code found on your jar, and Voila!Such consumer friendly innovation always gets my points. Together with a great looking and tasting healthy product, you get a brad worth looking into.
Happy Valley also offers tons of information on their website. This brand has strong dedications to customer service and customer assurance. Considering the amount of “fake” Manuka honey brands out there, it is essential for brands like Happy Valley to put out as much information about their processes as possible. This is why I’ve ranked this brand in my top 5 list.
As a member of the UMFHA, there is no doubt over the medicinal qualities of this honey brand. Happy Valley offers UMF 5+, UMF 10+, UMF 15+, UMF 18+ and UMF 20+ grades of Manuka. This gives you, and me, the consumers, a great variety of choice.
I personally have only ever tried the UMF 20+ in an attempt to moderate my acid reflux, and I can say that it worked out great. This honey is so thick and sleek at the same time, it kind of makes you want to jump and swim in it.
Happy Valley is a participant in Trees for Bees, where they take part in strategically planting bee friendly trees and plants around New Zealand. Considering the bee crisis that the world is facing, this is a small step in the right direction.
As a side note, for those of you curious about MGO, UMF 20+ equals MGO 829+. Also as a side reference, I have not seen non-UMF brands offering such high MGO products. The most I have seen is MGO 550.
